Still a charmer

In today's New York Times Magazine, David Mamet officially marks the end of his transition from talented jerk to talented douchebag prick motherfucker. If he's capable of giving an honest answer to a serious question, you'd never guess from this interview.

The interviewer, David Goldman, does a decent job of trying to coax Mamet into saying something worth paying attention to, but to no avail. He also refers to Marx's Capital as "Das Kapital," which puzzles me. Do people routinely refer to Dostoyevsky's Преступление и наказание, or the great collection of stories كتاب ألف ليلة وليلة?
